Family Cooking Class & Farm, Market Tour "Half Day Tour

The family cooking class station is located southeast of from Siem Reap central town about 6km, provides the best insight into local life’s culinary including 30 minutes guided walking tour around local village to visit local family and learn about traditional Khmer household, local ingredients, food customs and superstition regarding to Khmer food. You’re going to hand on everything from the beginning to the end. You have experienced chef standing by, shows and explain you detail during the class. After the class ended, you’ll enjoy you own creation and get the recipe book. The class takes around 2.30 hours to 3hours.

About Itineraries!

9:00 am: You will be warmed welcomed by our local English Speaking Tour Guide, he/ she will give you an introduction about geography and then being with walk tour, along the way, you see free chemical vegetable farm, local activities, typical stilt houses, authentic Cambodian living style, learning about Khmer culture, custom and visit local market then heading to The Green Home for cooking lesson, there you will give a warm welcome by family and then start with a lesson.

Dressing code & What to bring along?

We strongly advise you to dress appropriately to cover shoulders & knees, this is to show your respect to the locals and other active sites. Should bring along hat, sun cream, sunglasses and extra water to dehydrate due to humidity.
